Nestled in the misty hills of Kurseong, in the heart of Darjeeling, the Giddapahar Tea Estate is a small yet highly revered garden known for producing teas of exceptional character and charm. Established in 1881, this family-run estate sits at an elevation of 4,500 feet (1,400 meters) and spans just over 90 hectares — making it one of the most boutique and consistent producers in the region.

Giddapahar is especially admired for its First Flush teas, which are known for their bright, floral aromas, brisk flavor profiles.

DRY LEAF
Lightly twisted, wiry leaves with shades of olive green, silver, and light brown. Presence of fine tips and tender leaf buds.

INFUSION
Bright greenish-brown leaves, evenly unfurled, showcasing young two-leaf-and-a-bud plucks.

LIQUOR
Pale amber-gold, bright and clear.Delicate floral top notes, soft vegetal base.

☕For a perfect Cup of Tea:
🚰Take 1 cup of water (180 ml).
♨️Heat it to 90-95°C.
🥄Put 1 teaspoon (2.5g) of tea leaves in the water.
Steep the leaves for 3-5 minutes.
